Cruinniú na nÓg: Oliver Callan chats to The Kabin Crew

Oliver Callan was joined on air by members of the world-famous Kabin Crew to catch up on everything going on since the Cruinniú na nÓg anthem The Spark went worldwide.

Oliver speak to member turned mentor Rosaleen Brady and Dylan McCarthy who is in 6th class and part of the multi-talented Crew.

This Saturday, The Kabin Studio and friends are taking over the city again. Rock the Block is back for 2026, and you're invited!

It's a full day of FREE music-making for children and young people. It's going to be an explosion of sounds, a festival of fun musical exploration and collaboration!

Featuring performances, songwriting workshops, an open-mic session, a jam session and more. From traditional & folk music to brass & wind, from rock and pop to rap & hip-hop – there is something for everyone!

Before that gig kicks off, they will bring their spark and musical talent from The Kabin Studio will explode on to the streets of Cork City with rap-a-mile!

This parade with a difference starts at 11.30am from the Cork City Library, through Bishop Lucey Park and the Coal Quay before returning to finish at Grand Parade.

Cork City Libraries and the Rory Gallagher Music Library on Rock the Block. The city-centre location has multiple bus routes serving, as well as multi-story car parking options. This event is aso wheelchair accessible.

The Rebel Teen Social Hive is rooted in collaboration with the Cork Local Creative Youth Partnership and Cork ETB Youth Services, and reflects a strong network of youth groups across the city. Open to all, it's a space where creativity, community, and belonging come together for one unforgettable night.

This free event invites teens aged 14-18 to experience a fun, welcoming, and fully alcohol-free night of creativity, connection, and self-expression. This is a Cruinniú Late event supported by the Night Time Economy funding.
