Following a record-breaking RTÉ This is Art! 2025/26 competition, with inspiring entries received from all 32 counties, we want to extend a huge thank you to every young artist who took part. The creativity, imagination and talent on display this year has been nothing short of phenomenal.

Our judges (street artist Maser, educator and muralist Joe Caslin, artist and designer Helen Steele, Director of the Dock Mary Conlon, and Ornithologist Seán Ronayne) come together to carefully review and discuss the shortlisted entries - a milestone moment in what has been an incredible year for the competition.

Over the next two weeks finalists in each category will be contacted by the RTÉ This is Art! Team, and on 3 March the Winners in each category will be announced publicly. Following the Winners Announcement personalised Judges' Commendations will be delivered to the top 20 shortlisted entrants in each category
