Science Week celebrates its 30th birthday this year and our friends at Research Ireland/ Taighde Éireann want Primary Schools to join in the fun with the Curious Minds crew.
It runs from 9-16 November and the theme Then. Today. Tomorrow, celebrates the past, present and future of science. Curious Minds have two great live shows - find out more here!
On Monday, we started off with Science Week fun in your classroom. There was a special 30-minute show for primary schools hosted by Gráinne Bleasdale and Phil Smyth - watch it up top now.
In the show the CRAFT Maker Space will investigate some exciting facts about light, there'll be a trip to Dunsink Observatory to find out the amazing things Irish scientists have been up to, Phil Smyth (Phil of Science) will launch rockets, and we will hear about your favourite classroom experiments! Join Gráinne and the gang and make the most of Science Week.
This show is suitable for primary school learners of all ages.
Grainne and Phil returned on Friday with the Curious Minds Science Week for Primary Schools: REVIEW OF THE WEEK.
Celebrate your school's science achievements in this round-up of photos and videos from you and other schools across the country. See all the highlights and take part!
Curious Minds is part of Taighde Éireann/ Research Ireland's Education and Public Engagement Programme, which aims to increase interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among students, teachers and members of the public.
