As part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, RTÉ’s This is Art! and Creative Ireland present RTÉ This is Art! Island - a celebration of youth creativity featuring a series of art exhibitions across the island of Ireland.
RTÉ This is Art! Island will see exhibits of young artists' work from the RTÉ This is Art! competition displayed in non-traditional sites across the island of Ireland in Dublin, Limerick, Galway Cork & Derry, alongside a number of county council offices including Tipperary County Council, Kildare County Council, and Clare County Council, on Cruinniú na nÓg Day 2025 - Saturday, 7 June.

The five hero exhibit locations reflect a diverse cross-section of Irish culture, geography, and community spirit. They include: the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin, King John's Castle in Limerick, Silver Strand Beach on Sherkin Island, Cork, Father Burke Park in Galway City & 'In Your Space Circus', Circus Picnic in The Craft Village, Derry.
The exhibitions are pop-up in nature, so some may only be for one day only - don't miss them!

This creative display sees a selection of artworks by young artists displayed in five major public locations across Ireland - bringing powerful, inspiring youth expression directly into our cities and communities. From urban parks to unexpected rural settings, this extraordinary showcase will spotlight the rich artistic voices of Ireland’s young people and celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg.

RTÉ's This is Art! is an annual art competition for budding artists aged 0-18yrs in association with Creative Ireland and the Shared Island Initiative.
The competition, now in its fifth year, provides a national platform for self-expression, designed to celebrate the creativity and imagination of young people of all abilities across the island of Ireland. Each year, thousands of entries are received from every corner of the island. All submitted works are showcased online at thisisart.ie, forming one of the country's largest collections of art by young people.
