You could be sitting on a masterpiece!

You might have thought rhythm was just for musicians but visual artists use this principle in their artwork too. This is Art Club! looks at this idea as we get moving to make art in studio, Ross on feels the rhythm of New York City and much more.

This is Art Club! visits students from Griffith Barracks Multi-Denomination School in Dublin who are working on a really fun project where they are turning unwanted school chairs into works of art.

They really are sitting on a masterpiece. Each one has it's own story an inspiration. Press play to see how they were made up top.

Artist Claire Breen from Carlow Visual brings a rhythm party to This is Art Club! She guides a young group of artists through mapping the rhythm of their bodies to create large-scale art. We travel to the Big Apple of New York City to meet Artist-in-Residence Ross Carvil and learn how the rhythms of the city inspire his art.

Artist Apprentice Ciara takes a trip to the Fire Station Artists Studio in Dublin to meet with artist Jane Fogarty who is working on a new public sculpture for Carlow town. Finally we catch up with TIA! winner Zihan, who talks to us all about her winning artwork ' Journey of Tranquillity’ and how music inspired her to create this self portrait.
