Running away to the circus is a bit of a big decision, so why not give performing life a little try with Circus Explored on 15 June as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2024.
Cruinniú na nÓg, an initiative of Creative Ireland and supported by RTÉ, will delivers 1000s of free events taking place all over the island of Ireland. You can see them all on the official site here!
One of the partners helping to make the magic happen is the Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS). They are back again this year with Circus Explored.
It will see workshops in libraries, schools and community centres across Ireland, Shared Island youth exchanges, as well as Circus Explored open days at Dublin Circus Project, Cloughjordan Circus Club, Circus Factory Cork, Galway Community Circus, Circusful, Belfast and In your Space Circus, Derry.
Circus Explored workshops have been taking place, with thanks to ISACS members in local authorities, across Ireland since April and now it's time for the big show. The overall Circus Explored initiative will centre around an island-wide day of activity in each partner centre to celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg.

Circus Explored makes circus skills possible for everyone, no matter where you are from or who you are. As a Shared Island initiative, it connects young people from both sides of the border with circus organisations and aims to forge links between youth circus organisations from all corners of the island through the ISACS Network, as well as offering young people from all communities and corners of the island the opportunity to explore the fun and creativity of circus throughout 2024.
