Bike Week: Pedal power your way to school!

Bike Week 2024 from Green-Schools and the National Transport Authority.
Bike Week 2024 from Green-Schools and the National Transport Authority.

Bike Week 2024 is here and it runs until 19 May - get peddling everyone!

Green-Schools and the National Transport Authority want to see all the Primary and Post-Primary school students around the country cycling to school, your neighbourhoods or along the greenways.

An annual highlight is Wednesday, 15 May as we have National COW Day (Cycle on Wednesdays/ Weekdays). There will be prizes awarded to participating schools who promote the initiative in their own way. Use #BikeWeek to share all the fun on socials.

There are lots of great posters and activities for teachers in the classroom too. You can see them all on the Green-Schools Bike Week site.

Here's a Cycle Bus from Galway. Why not try one this week?
