"Is mise Macdara Ó Seireadáin, seinnm cláirnéid sa cheolfhoireann seo, an Ceolfhoireann Ceolchoirme RTÉ. Do Seachtain na Gaeilge táimid ag tabhairt cuireadh daoibh teacht ar thuras fáisnéise linn. Beimid ag taispeáint cuid den obair a dhéanaimid ó lá go lá, ag bualadh le cuid dár bhfoireann, agus ag tabhairt focal an lae daoibh."
"I'm Macdara Ó Seireadáin, clarinettist with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and for Seachtain na Gaeilge we’ll be taking you on an educational tour, showing you some of what we do day to day, introducing some of our team, and giving you our orchestral word of the day. Macdara kicked it off last week with Ceolfhoireann/ Orchestra.

Is trealamh riachtanach don cheoltóir é seo. Cuirimid ar gceol air sa dóigh gur féidir linn an ceol a léamh agus an stiúrithóir a fheiceáil. Féidimid é a ardú agus a isliú, agus tá spás ann do peann luaidh chun treoracha breise a scríobh síos ar an gceol.
This is a very important piece of equipment for a musician. We put our music on it and make sure that we can both read the music and see the conductor at the same time. We can move it up and down and it also has space for a pencil to write down any instructions during rehearsal.
