Tune in to RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player this Wednesday, 12 April at 7pm as Gemma Bradley and Stephen Byrne host Ireland's Young Filmmaker Of The Year Awards 2023!
It is a gathering of amazing young talent, harnessed by our friends from Fresh Film.
There are prizes in lots of different categories from Best Director, Best Screenplay to Best Animation, but only one young person will be crowned Filmmaker of the Year.
There are 34 short films nominated, produced by young people aged 7-18, and they are available to watch now on the Fresh Film YouTube channel. You can find out more here!
Last year Seán Treacy was named Ireland's Young Filmmaker of the Year 2022 for his film The Least I Can Do.
