Cruthaím is a world free from adults, celebrating young people's creativity and innovation launching here as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2022.

A big #GRMA to our friends at TG4 for sharing these wonderful films made by Fibín.

You can see this series of shorts featuring young people from all over Ireland starting tomorrow on RTÉjr, RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player for the next three months!

In the video up top we meet Holly Keating who is 14 and from Tipp. She loves playing music and gives us a few tunes on the fiddle. Hup!

About Cruthaím

Is ceiliúradh ar chruthaitheacht agus ar nuálaíocht na n-óg é Cruthaím, saol atá saor ó dhaoine fásta agus a chuireann go mór le hócáid Chruinniú na nÓg 2022. Díríonn Cruthaím ar dhaoine óga in Éirinn agus ar cheathrar óg ón diaspóra. Caitear solas ar an tallann ar leith atá acu agus ar an mbeocht uathúil a bhaineann leo i gcomhthéacs náisiúnta agus idirnáisiúnta. Ghlac daltaí na hidirbhliana as ceithre scoil sa tír dualgais an chriú orthu féin agus chuir siad a gcuid cruthaitheachta in iúl ach gearrscannáin iontacha úrnua a dhéanamh mar chuid den togra.

Cruthaím focuses in on young people from Ireland, as well as four from the diaspora. It sheds light on their distinctive talents and on their unique energy in a national and international context. Along with these transition year students from four schools I took on the responsibility of the crew and expressed their creativity by making some fantastic new short films as part of the project.

In the video above we meet Pauric McDwyer. He is a young Monaghan man, and like loads of people from the county he loves Gaelic Football! Check out his skills.
