This Is Art!, the All-Ireland art competition for young people under 18 is closing for is closed for entries and now it's time for our five judges to get to work.

The winners will be announced on Saturday, 11 June as part of Cruinniú na nÓg!

Will Sliney is a critically acclaimed comic book artist who has drawn some of the biggest comic books of all time including Spider-Man and Star Wars. Will has produced and starred in the TV WILL SLINEY'S STORYTELLERS (RTE) as well as RTE's Home School Hub.

His viral art movement #WEWILLDRAW was featured in The New York Times, BBC News, GQ, Vogue, IGN, CBC, CNBC and more.

Amanda Coogan is an internationally recognised and critically acclaimed artist working across the medias of live art, performance, photography and video. She is one of the most dynamic and exciting contemporary visual artist's practicing in the arena of performance.

Her extraordinary work is challenging, provocative and always visually stimulating.

Tadhg Crowley is a Senior Curator at The Glucksman in Cork where he has devised and delivered numerous projects that enable diverse communities to engage with contemporary art.

He has expanded The Glucksman's schools programme with imaginative workshops that invite children to create art for public display in exhibitions such as Monsters in the Museum, A Greener, Brighter Future and The Big Picture.

Annie Fletcher is the Director of IMMA, Irish Museum of Modern Art. A noted international curator, Annie has extensive leadership experience in the contemporary arts. As a curator she is particularly interested in how an encounter with art can generate a shared civic space and how, in today's world, contemporary art can address complex ideas of time, space and participation in order to achieve resonance with the public.

Annie is looking forward to seeing the creativity of young artists and hopes that some day their artwork may become part of our national collection at IMMA.

Aideen Barry is a visual artist with a national and international profile whose means of expression are interchangeable, incorporating performance, sculpture, film and lens based media, employing visual trickery to create a heightened suspension of reality.

In 2020 she was elected to the Royal Hibernian Academy as an ARHA member. She is also a member of Aosdána and lectures in several universities and schools of visual art. Aideen has received numerous awards for her practice and has exhibited her work extensively in Ireland and internationally including The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Moderne Museet Sweden, The Wexner Centre Ohio, The Royal Hibernian Academy and Banff Centre Canada.
