In between thunder storms and whatever else Mother Nature throws at us during an Irish summer, it is really important to get out and enjoy the countryside.
The Love This Place, Leave No Trace campaign will be running all summer and here are some top tips on keeping the great outdoors great!
It is asking the public to play their part by acting responsibly so that everyone can experience and enjoy outdoor spaces while helping to protect them from increased pressures this year.
The campaign focuses on three key points for people using outdoor public spaces this summer.

How to stop increased littering of the countryside and outdoor spaces
There is an increase in dog fouling, dog worrying and attacks on farm livestock as the numbers of pet dogs approaches an estimated 800,000. Find out more here!
