There's no holidays for John Egan and David McGoldrick

Lots of boys and girls dream of becoming a professional football player, and the people that make it to the top of the game would never complain about having to sacrifice some things to perform...BUT while everyone else is on holidays the English Premier League is busier than ever before.

With thanks to to the crew at Sheffield United have a look at the video up top to see how two of their players, Ireland's John Egan and David McGoldrick, spend their Christmas Day.

They can't just have a load of food and flake out on the couch, and David tells us on the day itself they actually stay in a hotel with a massive game at home versus Everton at 5pm on St Stephen's Day.

Then three days later they are travelling to play Burnley at 3pm and the games keep on coming with another trip away from home to London team Crystal Palace at noon on January 2.

Have a look at John Egan's mini diary here:
On Christmas Day we train.
We go home for dinner.
Chill watch a few movies.

On Stephen's Day we are in for a light session
I go to bed for a nap.
Pre-match at the ground.
Game time 5pm.

So, everyone at home enjoy their big dinner and the chance to chill out. Merry Christmas everyone!
