The 25th Science Week is here and there is SOOO much going on that After School Hub and Learn have teamed up with the Science Foundation of Ireland (SFI) to keep you updated on some of the things we think you will like.

To get you in the mood check out the cool rap song made by kids for the Cork Science Festival. It was produced with Music Generation and friend of After School Hub GMC Beats.

Well done to our rappers Sophie McCarthy, Cara Cullen, Luke Martin, Ellen Martin, Darren Stewart and Coben Cullen.

There are loads of virtual workshops for children to enjoy including a dinosaur show, sound workshop and the opportunity to explore a forensic crime scene.

Check out Cork Science Festival for more.

Of course the SFI themselves have a huge amount of resources and activities to try out in school or at home and they are even running a competition to see who can design the best school grounds.

It's all part of the theme Choosing Our Future and they have an amazing book all about health and well-being where you can learn about nature and the importance of a healthy environment on our own bodies.

Design your future school grounds to increase the well-being of the students through Minecraft, lego, 3d model, drawing or any materials that you like.

The full book is here to download and it has LOADS of activities and information.
