Children's Books Ireland - Meet Alan Nolan

Alan Nolan is an illustrator, author and graphic designer, and you may have seen him on RTÉ Learn earlier in the year...

DRAW WITH ALAN - OSTRICH

He has written and illustrated lots of books including 'Fintan's Fifteen’, ‘Conor’s Caveman’ and the Sam Hannigan series. His new book ‘Animal Crackers’ with author Sarah Webb is coming out in August so look out for it in your local library or bookshop!

He lives in Bray, County Wicklow, with his family and a cat named Chewie. Alan loves doing writing and illustration workshops with primary and secondary school kids and is often to be seen racing between schools and libraries, carrying a flipchart in one hand and a big bag of pencils in the other!
