Sounds Like Story Time!

Read this story and make the noise that you think is most suitable, when you see a noise written in BLACK.
This is a story about two children named Éabha and Adam. They lived with her parents in a little house in Dingle, County Kerry. The house was on a hill so the wind was always whooshing around [WIND NOISES]. There were lots of cows in the lovely green field beside the house. They made lots of noise every morning [COW NOISES]. One evening before bed, Éabha and Adam decided to go on an adventure. As they walked along the road, they heard lots of birds singing [BIRD NOISES].
They also heard a farmer giving out to the pigs because the pigs got into the house and made a mess [FARMER NOISES AND PIG SOUNDS]. Éabha and Adam laughed [LAUGHING SOUNDS]. They arrived at a forest and Adam was worried because it was getting dark and they really shouldn't be out late without their parents. Éabha told Adam to be brave and they went in. Suddenly, a giant owl swooped down and flew above their heads [OWL NOISES]. The children screamed [LOUD SCREAMS] and ran out of the forest.
Their feet made loud noises as they ran. It was muddy and their feet were squelchy [SQUELCHY FEET NOISES]. They decided they had enough adventure for one evening and went home to their safe, cosy beds [LOUD SNORING NOISES].

That's A Rap

Another way to use your voice is to say words in time with a beat. Usually the sentences rhyme with each other. This is called rapping. Here’s a rap we made up just for you! Why not learn it off and perform it for people in your home?
Home School Hub is the place to be
Learning at home with my family
Clíona, John and Ray are cool
Teaching me the subjects that I do in school! When I’m feeling sad or low
I turn on the telly and I watch this show
When school returns and I see my friends
We’ll talk about the Hub, and the fun that never ends.
If you'd like to send in a video of you rapping or singing or doing some voice impressions, we’d love to see and hear them!
