Time for a Theme!
Take a moment and think of as many words as you can that are associated with SCHOOL.
Now see if you can unscramble these words that we thought of. The answers are at the bottom of the sheet so you can check them when you're done!
Verbs
As you may or may not know, a verb is an action word, for example: eat, sleep, jump etc. Sentences are not complete without a verb. There are many action words that you can use to describe what you do in school.
Try Out Being A Teacher
Since the schools closed, many parents and relatives have taken on the role of a teacher, to help children continue learning even when they're not in the classroom. Maybe your parent or guardian has been teaching you new things at home!
Let’s switch things around. Pretend that you are the teacher. Make a plan for a lesson that you want to teach then see how it goes when you teach your family. An easy way to start planning a lesson is to think of a subject first, for example: HISTORY and then think of a topic you want to teach, for example: EGYPTIANS. Write out your plan, then off you go!
Send us pictures or videos of what you have done. Ask your parents to help you send them to rte.ie/learn
