Mermaids Purses
Join Anna from Galway Atlantaquaria as she explorers Mermaids Purses. Anna will explain what they are, and how you can tell what type of shark or skate is inside. She will show you some of our baby sharks, while they are developing inside their egg, and what they look like when they are born at the aquarium.
You will also learn about the most common type of shark we get in Irish waters, the Lesser Spotter Dogfish, and see it swimming in our tanks.
