It's a big day for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind as the charity celebrates its 50th anniversary. For five decades, the organisation has helped change lives across Ireland, providing guide and assistance dogs to people who are visually impaired and to families with autistic children.
To learn more about the dedicated dogs who are at the heart of the charity's work, Florence was joined in studio by Frances Cooney who is a Puppy Raising Supervisor and pup Valerie who is currently in training!
Cathal headed out to Merrion Square in Dublin City, where the International Literature Festival Dublin was well underway and some budding bookworms were learning about Irish history and heroes!
