Florence headed down to Redeemer Boys National School in Co Louth who have become the first school from Dundalk to take part in the First Lego League and make it to the regional finals!

A new CSO report has revealed the most popular named last year. Rían topped the list for boys, while Lily was the most popular girls' name.

The top five boys' names in 2025 were Rían, while Jack moved from the top spot down to second place, followed by Noah, James and Oisín. The top picks for girls' names were Lily, Éabha, Fiadh, Grace and Sadie.

For the month of February, readers across the country have been invited to get lost in a book to celebrate the Ireland Reads campaign. At Tallaght Library in Dublin, a book club has been involved in the initiative for the past two years. RTÉ's Evelyn O'Rourke tells us more.
