For the last 34 weeks, 8 year old Sarah and her Mam Kate, had undertaken a challenge to run a 5k Parkrun in all 32 counties of Ireland, which they recently completed at the Tullow parkrun in Carlow, raising over €8,000 for the Irish Cerebral Palsy football team and Friends of the Coombe Hospital along the way. Sarah joined Cathal in studio to run through the details!
A new report shows that children who miss days at school regularly are likely to have lower educational qualifications and levels of well being in adulthood.
Trócaire's Game Changers programme is inviting students to design digital, board or card games based around climate justice, so Cathal headed out to meet with some of these global gamemakers!
