Students from the Music Generation Laois Harp Ensemble are preparing for a big performance tomorrow night at the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras 30th Festival of Youth Orchestras which will be taking place in the National Concert Hall! So Florence paid a visit to The Laois Music Centre to get a sneak peek of what they've been working on.

The Winter Olympics 2026 officially begin this evening in Italy.Athletes from around the world, including Ireland will compete in sports played on snow and ice. And our reporter Eamon Horan is there to give us a flavour of what to expect!

Although the thought of having exotic animals as pets might sound appealing, the NSPCA have warned against it, stating that certain animals can be dangerous to keep at home. RTÉ's Aaron McElroy visited the Secret Valley Wildlife Park in Co Wexford who have recently rescued a serval cat found in Co Roscommon.
