Composers in the Classroom. A baby goes to school and we mark Clean Energy Day.

Stream the show on RTÉ Player or watch it now by pressing play on the image above.

It is the 10th year of the Composers in the Classroom program which gives young people around Ireland the opportunity to create their own piece of music to be performed by a professional choir. Each piece will be performed at a concert on Friday, when a winner will be chosen, so Cathal went to check it out!

For pupils in Citywest and Saggart Community National School in Dublin, school has become child's play! As part of a special programme run by children's charity Barnardos, a baby and parent visit a classroom every three weeks. The aim is to help children understand and talk about their emotions.

Today is clean energy day, a day to raise awareness as well as actively strive towards using clean and renewable energy. Clean energy refers to energy sources such as sunshine, wind, and water that don't pollute the environment.

To help understand the importance renewable energy has on our planet, children from Scoil Neifinn went to the Oweninny Wind Farm Visitor Centre in Co Mayo to learn more about it.
