Breaking news2day news! On today's show presenter Florence announced the lucky winner of the 2025 Christmas Art Competition - massive congratulations to Pádraig Rynn.
His amazing drawing is full of colour, and it saw Pádraig win the top prize.
He will get to hit the big red button to turn on the Christmas lights at RTÉ live on television - tune in to RTÉ2 or the RTÉ Player this Friday 5 December at 4.05pm.
Every year the news2day team receive thousands of drawings and paintings from primary school students from all over the country, and Florence thanked each and every kid who took the time to share their work on behalf of news2day.
The theme this year was 'Christmas is for Sharing', and the team were so happy that everyone shared their art.
They are now hung on the walls of RTÉ to bring Christmas cheer to all.
