It's the United Nations International Day of Democracy today, a day to review and celebrate the impact of democracy around the world. So, Cathal went down to Alexandra College Junior School in Dublin where the day was de-voted to classroom elections!
Florence is in studio with lots more too. We meet some new Irish citizens who were sworn in at a special ceremony. It's a busy time for our sports stars. Aoife O'Rourke won a World Champion title. Our athletes are competing at the World Championships in Japan. There was heartbreak for the Women's Rugby team at the World Cup as they lost out to France in the Quarter Final.
And, we finish with a fun story from California, USA where seals have taken over a beach!
