Barry blasted off to the ESB Science Blast, a non competitive exhibition that gives budding scientists in 3rd to 6th class, from across the island of Ireland, the chance to show off projects and experiments, based on the power of a simple question.
The first all-girl team to represent Ireland at the world's largest robotics competition say they hope to inspire younger girls to get involved in STEM.The girls - from Sacred Heart secondary school in Tullamore, Co Offaly - will join a number of Irish teams at the VEX Robotics World Championships in the US in May.
Sustainability was alive-alive-oh in The Helix in Dublin last night as an Irish design made from 2,000 mussel shells was crowned Junk Kouture World Designer of the Year.
Co Westmeath student Clodagh Ramsey, from Wilson's Hospital School, walked away as the overall winner for her design 'Aquacultural'. See all the final designs here!
