This month is World Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Month. Each year more than 500 babies are born with the condition here in Ireland. Florence was joined by Izzy Lonergan from Cahir, Co Tipperary who tell us about the disease. And how she is living life to the full - including a big trip!

Brian O'Donovan tells us that Ireland's application to join the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) has been accepted in principle, paving the way for the country to become an associate member in 2026.

Sligo man, Stuart Haxell, who was functionally blind has got his sight back, after being treated with a new gene therapy at the Mater University Hospital in Dublin.

He is the first patient to receive the ground-breaking ocular gene therapy treatment 'Luxturna' in Ireland. Fergal Bowers has the story.

Enjoy the midterm everyone. We are back on Monday at the usual time of 4.20pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
