Leaving Cert Applied students from a school in Navan, Co Meath have been passing on their hair and beauty skills to pupils from a neighbouring special school.
The collaboration between St Joseph's Mercy Secondary School and St Ultan’s School came about following an appeal for projects between mainstream schools and schools with specialised curriculums.
The St Ultan’s pupils visit St Joseph’s Mercy’s purpose-built salon to receive tuition in beauty practice and theory from the LCA students.
