Yesterday was International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day which promotes inclusivity. Florence went down to one school who got their paints and pencils out to raise funds and awareness for Down Syndrome Ireland.
The country's first digital toy exchange library aims to tackle the problem of toy waste by giving parents a platform to find, exchange or donate second hand toys free of charge to give them a longer lifespan.
Launched in June by Giorgia Anile, a PhD student at UCC, the platform has already had close to 1,000 users. Visit thetoylibrary.ie to find out more!
And, it wasn't to be for the Irish WNT. They lost out to Wales in the UEFA Eueo 2025 Play-off 2nd leg. Having drawn away in Wales, they lost out 2-1 at home to end their dream of reaching another major tournament.
