There is a lot of talk about elections all around the world right now, so one school in Dublin is learning about democracy with their own Class President Elections! Barry went along to Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire to see who topped the polls!
We put on our wellies and headed to the the National Ploughing Championship in Ratheniska, Co. Laois. There's loads of fun from machinery, to animals and loads more.
news2day had a chat with some of the young people at the mega event to see what brings them to the Ploughing.
Fergal O'Brien tells us about how An Garda Síochána are using a special to target distracted and careless driving, as well as seatbelt use by HGV drivers.
It allows officers to look down into cars and into other trucks to make sure drivers are paying attention to the road and more. The new road safety initiative was deployed in August under Operation Iompar.
And finally, we finish with a hippo that is so hot right now! Moo Deng., the Pygmy hippo is officially an Internet sensation. Have a look yourself and you will see why!
