It's a Leap Year and that means that 29 February only happens once every four years. It might not be a big deal to most people, but for people born on the day, like Ben, it's hard to know what age he should tell people. Molly went to his school in Meath to help him celebrate his 3rd?! birthday...
There are lots of big science events in Ireland every year like BTYSTE and Science Blast. You might even have been to some of them. But, one Leitrim town decided to have their own science fair. RTÉ's Eileen Magnier went to Ballinamore to see STEMtacular!
And there was good news for a very rare species of monkey this week. A Francois' langur was born on 17 February at Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire. The bright orange little one is a big boost to everyone who is trying to save and protect these animals.
Tune in to news2day weekdays during the school term at 4.20pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player!
