On Safter Internet Day, RTÉ's Work and Technology Correspondent Brian O'Donovan was in studio to to tell us about the results of a survey. It says most 25% of six-year-olds have their own smartphone!
The study, by Amárach, on behalf of online safety charity CyberSafeKids. Brian also tells us more about online safety and what can be done to protect everything on the Internet.
There was sad news as former Taoiseach John Bruton passed away after a long illness.
Mr Bruton was Taoiseach from 1994 to 1997 when he led the rainbow coalition government of Fine Gael, Labour and Democratic Left. He was leader of Fine Gael from 1990 to 31 January, 2001.
In Northern Ireland, the Stormont Assembly is back up and running with two new leaders. It meant the first-ever nationalist First Minister, Sinn Féin's Michelle O'Neill, and her DUP counterpart, deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly are now in charge.
In China, and across Asia people are getting ready for the Lunar New Year. But, so are the pandas - check out all the fun.
