Reem and Molly have lots of great local and international stories! We're talking history in Skibbereen. Food waste, baguettes get respect, the World Cup of Camels in Qatar and much more!!
Press play up top or catch up any time on the RTÉ Player!
Reem visits West Cork where the local people have published a book on the beginning of the Irish State. Local school children interviewed people to gather stories and they were all collected in Stories of the Revolution.
Food waste is a major issue and RTÉ News' Colman O'Sullivan tells us that the Government has announced a plan for reducing food waste by 50% by 2030.
This is one of the targets in the Climate Action Plan and is in line with a UN sustainable development goal to cut global food waste by half by 2030.
Speaking of food, the famous French baguette has been given UNESCO heritage status. There are more great stories on the show, including a World Cup with difference. The Camel World Cup is taking place in Qatar too!
This week because of the World Cup the show will be on RTÉ Player here!
