Teresa Mannion has a great report about an 11-year-old Galway schoolboy who has had a short story published in a children's book for the global Make-A-Wish charity.

Matthew McNena from Oranmore entered the international writing competition for ages 7 to 12, and the theme was mythical creatures.

His story 'Mythical Creature, Humans: A Look at Life on Earth from 2021' was one of 11 winners from hundreds of entries. Well done!

And we finish with some nature news as Wellington Zoo in New Zealand welcomes eight new baby lemurs. These endangered animals are native to Madagascar (you know them from the film!) and everyone is delighted with the new arrivals.
