- The fact is, sharks have no bones. Their skeletons are made of cartilage, which is what our ears and nose are made of.
- The whale shark is the biggest. It can be longer than a school bus and way more than two African elephants.
- And what about the Greenland shark? It lives in really deep cold water, which helps keep it alive for ages. In fact, some Greenland sharks could be 300 years old.
