The Late Late Toy Show is for everyone with Live Audio Description and Irish Sign Language

Every year Christmas really does come early with the Late Late Toy Show. It's the gift from RTÉ to everyone in Ireland and around the world. Here, we want to tell our ISL, Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind and Vision Impaired communities how they can enjoy the biggest show of the year!

For the third year in-a-row, our ISL coverage features Deaf presenters, Sarah-Jane O'Regan and Jason Maguire - working with hearing interpreters, Ciara Grant and Lisa Harvey-Coleman.

The Toy Show with Audio Description is going live this year too! Your Audio Describers are Clara Murray and Berni Stack.

Audio Description

For the first time on RTÉ, Audio Description will be available live on RTÉ One during broadcast, making it more accessible than ever and ensuring that its wonder can be shared universally. Your Audio Describers this year will be Clara Murray and Berni Stack.

Clara says: "We're delighted to be part of the most magical night of the year and to be making AD available live on the night!"

The Late Late Toy Show will be repeated on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on Sunday, 7 December at 3:10pm with Audio Description.

Irish Sign Language

The Late Late Toy Show with Irish Sign Language (ISL) will broadcast live on the RTÉ News Channel and RTÉ Player. The Late Late Toy Show ISL is a real celebration of Irish Sign Language, Ireland's third official language.

Sarah-Jane O'Regan works on RTÉ's ISL News & Weather team. Sarah-Jane is a qualified Deaf Interpreter (DI) and has also provided ISL for several arena concerts, including P!nk, Taylor Swift and Coldplay! Sarah-Jane is a teacher at the Holy Family School for the Deaf.

Jason Maguire is a seasoned Deaf Interpreter with years of experience in TV. He works as a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) at Holy Family For The Deaf. That's him in the promo up top of this article!

They will be joined by ISL interpreters Ciara Grant and Lisa Harvey-Coleman on the night.

The Late Late Toy Show with ISL is also repeated in the late night ISL block on Wednesday, 10 December on RTÉ One.
