The 2025 news2day Christmas Art Competition is here - send in your amazing art now!

Breaking news! The theme of the news2day Christmas Art Competition is...Christmas is for Sharing!! And we hope you all share your artwork for the chance to press the big red button at RTÉ HQ to turn on the Christmas lights LIVE on news2day!

Cathal launched the competition today - watch the video above.

We really love the theme this year and we want to see what every Primary School student thinks about it by asking them all to share their artwork. Even though there can only be one winner, everyone loves to see the sack loads of creativity arriving each day. And, every year the entries deck the halls of RTÉ, so the more the merrier.

Post your entry to news2day, RTÉ, Donnybrook, Dublin 4. It must arrive by midday on Friday, 28 November! The live event when the lights go on takes place on Friday, 5 December - the winner must be available on that day. Good luck!
