It's time to go back to visit friends, old and new, on Puffin Rock as RTÉjr brings you the third season of the beautiful show for pre-schoolers narrated by Chris O'Dowd.
Puffin Rock swoops in this Monday, 15 September on RTÉjr and RTÉ Player with a triple-bill at 6.35pm. Have fun with Oona and Baba and all the gang, as they make new friends and get to know each other better, experiencing the ups and downs of growing up and exploring the nature that surrounds them.
The Cartoon Saloon/ Dog Ears animation features pre-school themes including friendship, family and belonging alongside learning wonderful natural history facts that draw inspiration from the real dramas of nature.
Oona has a new best friend in high-flying Tufted Puffin Isabelle, while Baba gets to hang out with the newest and cutest cast member, Lala, the littlest puffling of all. And along with the other new arrivals Marvin and Phoenix, Season 3 is bursting with rich new storylines and adventures to explore.
The new friends are not just for Oona and Baba, old favourites, Mossy, May, Silky and the Hoots all get new friends too. Mossy has a fellow berry eater in Phoenix, Silky has a swimming buddy in Marvin and May enjoys digging with him underground.
Altogether they will experience the fun, surprises and threats that living in a wild landscape brings! One minute swooping through the skies, diving under the waves or exploring an echoey cave, the next buffeted by high winds, swept along on fast currents or being chased by a seagull.
It's all part of a normal day growing up on Puffin Rock! And along with our beloved narrator and professional puffin expert, Chris O'Dowd, whose funny, playful style adds a unique view of this world, we travel back to the Island for Season 3.
