Classical Kids: Come along to an inclusive music camp at the Royal Irish Academy of Music

The host of RTÉjr Radio's Classical Kids, Megan Churcher, is inviting kids to something very special at the Royal Irish Academy of Music next week.

Megan and her friends from the Academy are opening their doors and welcoming children, aged 4-10, to come and meet the orchestra at their inclusive kids summer camp!

Listen to Classical Kids every Sunday at 10am on RTÉjr Radio!

The camp will take place from the 7-11 July in the Royal Irish Academy of Music. It is Neurodivergent friendly and the tickets are absolutely free - click here for more.

Over the course of the week, they will introduce you to each of the four instrument families, through games, stories and performance, before bringing the whole orchestra together for our big concert on Friday.

Meet the instruments at their "instrument petting zoo", explore melody and rhythm, and listen as the instruments come to life in the hands of the Academy's talented musicians.

Megan says: "We understand that each person responds to music differently and we are dedicated to providing a safe and relaxed setting for everyone to come and enjoy the transformative power of music."
