A few months ago we had the pleasure of attending the Waltons Lyric FM Music for Schools Finals at the National Concert Hall. It was the culmination of the long running national competition and celebration of music in schools across Ireland. We made a whole episode of CAKE all about it!

Killoe were one of the schools in the final had such a love of music that we simply had to expand it into their own DJ For A Day show. We'll let them explain...

Hi, we are from St Teresa's NS in Killoe, Co Longford.

We are in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class and we meet for choir every week.

We love our school and always have so much to do. We are a very sporty school but also love music.

There is always some kind of music going on in our school, depending on the time of year - our Christmas concert, school band for the local St Patrick's Day Parade, Music for Schools, National Children's Choir, Peace Proms, School Scór or choir for sacraments and celebration days.

We came up with these songs in our groups because we love them.
