Six Nations: Toy Show star Stevie answers Ireland's Call

When Stevie Mulrooney blasted out Ireland's Call on the Late Late Toy Show and got to meet Irish rugby stars Peter O'Mahony and Bundee Aki he probably thought life couldn't get much better.

But, the rugby fan (who just turned 8) got to sing the song at the Aviva before Ireland's big win over Italy in the Six Nations!

He won lots of fans on Sunday, Irish boss Andy Farrell LOVED it. He said: "He was waving to the crowd, stood there on his own. I thought: 'this kid's got it all'. He was amazing. He nailed it, didn't he? It was a great start."

And he has gone viral around the rugby world! Well done Stevie!!

Speaking on RTÉ's Morning Ireland he said that the big crowd was "scaring the life" out of him.

However, he said that when he got into the song he "didn't feel a little bit nervous." Press play on the image above to hear his interview or listen to it in full here!

Here's Stevie's big moment...

Thanks to Leinster Rugby's Noel Devlin the young man from the hurling county fell in love with rugby. "I play with Kilkenny RFC U8s, and even though we don’t really play with a Number 10, that’s where I’d like to play. Johnny Sexton is my all-time favourite player."

It might seem like a big week, but the main man is always busy! He does kick boxing at Kilkenny Combat Academy, Jiu Jitsu at Dragon’s Lair, he hurls with Dicksboro and plays soccer with Freebooters AFC. Did we mention he loves swimming too?!

And, if Ireland play Poland any time, he can sing BOTH national anthems. His mam Karolina is from Poland, and he is fluent in Polish!
