We invited the brilliant DracuLally (Seanchai Steve Lally) and his fearsome family into studio to record these wonderful Samhain Stories. 10 stories of things that go bump in the night, and every one is full of heart.
Into the World Within was Commissioned by Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, and made by the magical Moonfish Theatre who devised an audio journey for the whole family using live foley to create a magical, musical world of enchanting adventures.
Alex and Nicky are bored, stuck indoors all day, but at least Uncle Petey is coming to visit! His stories have always brought magic into their lives, even if Nicky thinks stories are "immature" these days.
But when Uncle Petey arrives, something's not quite right. Alex knows what's made him so quiet and withdrawn...he’s a changeling, and it’s up to Alex and Nicky to bring the real Uncle Petey home.Join Alex and a reluctant Nicky as they journey into the underworld through a pillow fort in their bedroom. And finally A Way Home, a gorgeous story written by Olivia Hope, made in collaboration with Siamsa Tire Theatre in Tralee gets another outing two siblings get lost in the woods. There they meet a mysterious traveller and embark on an adventure that sees them encountering a cheeky púca, some lost souls, and a choir of banshees.
