DJ For A Day: It's gonna be dino-mite with DJ Lucy!!

We love it when a young DJ joins our roster with a roar, and the roars don't come much bigger or better than dinosaur-loving Lucy!

Tune in to RTÉjr Radio this Saturday (and every Saturday) at 4pm & listen back any time here!

Lucy is 7 years old and has just joined Ms Scannell's 1st Class at St Brigids Primary Kildare. Although we're sure her dino-knowledge started long before, the class is a very friendly and supportive one for budding paleontologist and she has so many friends there she’d like to give a big shout out to. You too Ms Scannell!

And why not a dino-joke too?

Why did the Archaeopteryx catch the worm?

Because it was an early bird!

Lucy loves music, dancing and drama too, all skills she’s exercised brilliantly in her show this weekend. She loves her baby sister Bonnie and dotes on her. Her mum and dad agree that she's just the best big sister. She would like to say a big hello to all her friends and family and everyone who tunes in this Saturday. Lucy is T-rex-iffic!

(Please note: Lucy is in no way responsible for the terrible dinosaur puns in this article as she focused her attention on making a super episode of DJ For A Day)

If you, your friends or even your whole class would like to be one of our amazing young DJs email junior@rte.ie.
