This week on DJ For A Day we have two besties who are bigger mates than Batman and Robin. Welcome to the airwaves Lewis and Tom!!

Both boys attend Monaseed National School in Gorey County Wexford but they've been friends for years and love to call themselves "brothers from another mother". The lads the same hobbies, as well as the airwaves. Gaming, art and drama take up a lot of their time but sport features too. Both Tom and Lewis play football for Gorey Celtic and clash the ash with Craanford GAA.
The boys are inseparable and have such an amazing connection.
But the biggest challenge to their friendship came in May 2020 when Lewis was diagnosed with Leukaemia. But it’s times like these that show us who are friends really are and Lewis’s mum says "Tom has been a rock to Lewis."
Thankfully, and with huge relief, Lewis rang the bell on 20 June 2023 to mark the end of his cancer treatment! Himself, his big brother Alex and his mum and dad are currently on a long summer trip to mark this huge milestone. Well done Lewis!
Tom wants to shout out to his friend William, everyone in Monaseed School and to Mammy, Mike, Kate, Daddy, his 2 grandads, granny and Nana and Mylo and Larry.
