It's time to meet another DJ For A Day - it's the brilliant Kate! She is 7 and right now she's in the last few weeks of 1st Class in Piercestown school along with her 26 friends and classmates. Our DJ has an older brother, Seán, who's 11 years old. Not to forget her dog Harry, a labrador (he's 6!) who she plays with every day.

Kate is very active and enjoys the outdoors hugely. A day outside is a good day! She loves athletics and runs with her local club D.M.P AC. She’s also a huge soccer fan, loves to play with her friends in school at lunchtime and her club Forth Celtic. Not stopping there with the sports Kate also plays GAA with St Martins club in Piercestown.
Her talent for presenting doesn’t come out of thin air. She really enjoys her drama class every week with Shine Bright Theatre, and Kate and her cousin Niamh have recently performed on stage in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
She loves music which is what brought her to doing DJ For A Day. Kate says: "Music is very relaxing and it makes me smile. I love listening to new and old songs. I always turn up the radio when my favourite songs are playing".
And her show reflects this! Pop classics and a certain Liverpool related song to sing from the terraces.
