We have some great news! RTÉjr have five podcasts nominated in three categories in this year's Irish Podcast Awards which will take place on 16 September in Dublin.
In the Best Family Podcast Category we have four of the five nominations! Well done to everyone involved in making Maddie + Triggs, Someone Like Me, Spooky FM and Two Halves. The RTÉjr pods will go up against KidCast, and best of luck to everyone!
In the Climate Award Category, Ecolution is up against RTÉs Hot Mess and The Book of Leaves. And in the Creativity Category Maddie + Triggs is there again, so they could be taking home two prizes on the night!
Of course, all of this is only made possible by the work of Nicky Coghlan and his team in RTÉjr Radio. So, well done to them and all the people they work with.

Season 3 of Ecolution saw a new presenter taking over in Evie Kenny, but she is building on the amazing work of James Dunne. He led the way for Climate Action on the show and Evie is taking on the fight with more great guests and interesting topics.
The gang are rightly being recognised for their work and we hope it inspires young people to take part in and learn about climate change.

"It's very exciting to see so many of RTÉjr Radio’s podcasts nominated at the inaugural Irish Podcast Awards. Although the shows work on the channel, having them as podcasts allows our young listeners and their parents to engage with these programmes again and again.
Between what we do in-house and the amazing independent producers we’ve been developing content with, we’ve tried to cater to children all across Ireland. But it’s lovely to see work for young people sitting alongside the other amazing shows shortlisted." – Nicky Coghlan, RTÉjr Radio
