DJ For A Day is the show where kids get to take over the RTÉjr Radio airwaves!
Every Saturday at 4pm young people pick their favourite tunes and share their music with everyone at home. This week we have brother and sister duo Jamie and Elodie!

JAMIE
My name is Jamie and I am 9 years old. I live in Dublin and for my 10th birthday I am going to see Ed Sheeran in Cork, it will be my first ever concert. I like to play soccer and write stories. My favourite soccer team is Liverpool and the team I play for is Granada FC.
I like music because it is lively and upbeat and can always cheer you up. I like pop music the best because it is the most upbeat kind of music. My favourite artist is Ed Sheeran and his best song, and my favourite, in my opinion is 'Shivers'. I can sing pretty much the whole song. I also like Justin Beiber, he sings pop songs that are like jazz, for example Love Yourself.

ELODIE
My name is Elodie and I am 7 years old. I have two goldfish - Goldie & Skipper. My hobbies are gymnastics, soccer and painting. My team is Granada FC.
I like music because it is cheerful. My dad gave me his old iPod shuffle and put music on it for me which I love listening to when I am painting.
My favourite music is from Ed Sheeran and I really enjoyed listening to the music at the Cork Jazz festival last year.

Why are fish really good at singing??
Because they practice their scales!
