You know the drill. Go out and buy the RTÉ Guide and start putting big red circles around these great shows coming up for kids this Christmas!

Adam Saves Christmas

We know that the festive fun really began after the Toy Show and, friend of the show, Adam King is the star of Adam Saves Christmas which will premiere on RTÉjr TV at noon on Christmas Eve.

Here's the story. Christmas is in trouble, as Adam discovers when Santa (Played by Ryan Tubridy!) calls to tell them the Northern Lights aren't working and it’s so dark, he can’t find his reindeer.

Unless Adam can figure out what’s happening to the Aurora...Christmas will be ruined!

The full listings for the show are below:

24 December on RTÉjr - 12.00pm, 2.30pm, 6.20pm.

24 December on RTÉ One at 5.35pm and 25 December on RTÉ One at 12.25pm.

Home School Hub: A Christmas Cracker!

Home School Hub is back…but this time there is no school and nothing to learn! Seamus the Dog has found himself alone for Christmas after forgetting to post his invitations for a festive dinner.

But with the help of the Irish Army, Marty Morrissey, Dermot Bannon, Mairéad Ronan, intergalactic popstar Nova Jones and a host of surprising guests, will Seamus pull off a Christmas cracker and get our Múinteoirí back together?

If there is one programme that will put a smile on your face this Christmas Day, it’s this!

Tune in at 5.25pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player plus you can watch it again on RTÉ One 26 December at 11.45am.

AND the show will also be broadcast with ISL on RTÉjr Christmas Day at 6.05pm and will be on at that time until New Year's Eve.

A Kids' Country Christmas

If you love Christmas and kids who love country music then there is literally no other show on TV that will make you happier than A Kids' Country Christmas!

The show travels around Ireland to meet some Irish kids who are already making their mark on the country music scene and they sing some country music classics with some festive tunes too. We want everyone singing along at home!

Tune in to RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player on Christmas Eve at 3.35pm (and again on Stephen's Day at 10.50am) to hear Tyrone's Caillin Joe, Donegal's Wild Atlantic Wains, yodeller Rachel O'Donnell from Cashel, County Tipperary and Emma Sophia (who is only five) from Cork.

Ace My Space

MC and Sean are back for two fun-filled festive Ace My Space shows on 22 & 23 December on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player at 5.25pm.

Tune in as they take on two very special community makeover challenges with young participants who feel that a special place in their locality is deserving of a room revamp.

Along the way, they will encounter the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, and will bring you some traditional yuletide tips and tricks while they're at it. (I for one am curious to find out what sense of style the ghosts might bring...)

Shorts Yule Love

Across RTÉjr, RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player this Christmas we have a series of ten fun animations from some of the best Irish producers around with Shorts Yule Love!

The animations were specially commissioned by RTÉjr and they are all super-cute and fun for all the family!

Keep an eye on RTÉ Kids as we will have loads more fun articles about the new TV shows as well as what is coming up on RTÉjr Radio!
