Mai O'Mahony tells the story of how her mother was stood up in 1923 because her date was shooting someone down the road.

In this video, Mayo women Mai O'Mahony and Maggie Ruane recount some of the events around a Civil War murder in Kiltimagh in 1923. You can read more about this story and the importance of bringing these stories to light here.
