The Civil War project on RTÉ History commemorates the centenaries of key events in the conflict. The site will offer illustrated accounts and explainers of crucial events from the transfer of power at Dublin Castle to the Battle of Dublin, from the death of Michael Collins to the offficial establishment of the Irish Free State, accompanied by image galleries and interactive maps. This project is the product of a partnership between RTÉ History, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and The Atlas of the Irish Revolution edited by John Crowley, Donal Ó Drisceoil, Mike Murphy and John Borgonovo and published by the Cork University Press.

You can find resources for secondary schools based on the Atlas of the Irish Revolution here.
